My favorite V-day dinner is lobsters at home and cheese fondue with shrimp, bread and veggies.
Roasted Chicken, Tossed Green Beans and Roasted Rosemary Red Potatoes. Paired with a glass of wine of course
Since we tell each other that we love each other day, we don’t go huge for Valentine’s. But I do make sure he gets a few of his favorite things. Which is a new type of burger with all the spice combination (usually your rub, and some spicey mustard combo) topped with some blue cheese and spicey Katchup. Then for desert some type of decadence. Which this year will be chocolate chip and bacon cookies with carmel and topped with sea salt.
Our favorite type of Valentine’s Day dinner is filet mignon with wine sauce and something chocolate and decadent for dessert – like a chocolate cheesecake. Both paired with red wine — yum!
My favourite VAlentine dinner is either Prime rib roast OR veal parmesan. Those two things just say I LOVE YOU . I serve this with French bread, spaghetti, and asparagus.
Emmenthal cheese fondue and spicy lemon garlic shrimp
My favorite Valentines dinner is peppered tuna steak with avacado and a mixed greens salad with cucumbers. Gluten free powdered sugar donut holes baked into a heart shape. Iced raspberry lemon tea.
Chicken parm and lasagna! Yum-o
Favorite Valentines dinner is Cajun Red Snapper with lumpcrab topping and a Champagne sauce; followed with Creme Brulee
I suspect our dinner at home will involve a bleu cheese fondue with sourdough bread, and some steaks (he loves your Butcher’s Rub). Veggies roasted with olive oil and spices. And of course chocolate will make an appearance, too. I like mine with nuts and caramel, while he prefers the straight-up dark with a little sea-salt.
My favorite valentine’s dinner is my hubby’s shishkabobs. YUMMY!!! Merinaded and grilled to perfection…makes me drool just to think about it.
Broiled Shrimp with garlic, parsley and lemon in the shell.
Broccoli with almond in olive oil
Fresh salad, romaine, radished, peppers, celery, Topped with your favorite cheese and dressing.
For dessert chocolate covered strawberries.
Champagne
I hate trying to go out anywhere on Valentine’s Day because everywhere is so busy. So I like to cook something a little special at home. It’s almost always fish because my hubby likes it but the kids don’t so it isn’t something I fix very often. Herbed salmon served with lemon and a salad sounds divine for this year!
Right now we’re on an Thai cuisine kick and plan on making Peanut chicken with fried jasmine rice with an array of vegetables like sweet peppers, carrots, zucchini and squash. No matter what we’ll eat it will be the best Valentine’s dinner because it was another one together! Xoxo
I love a good steak (espresso rub, yum!), roasted green beans or asparagus with smoked salt, and a little something chocolate at the end. Maybe a little red wine or whiskey to drink.
My favorite tea is Cinnamon Plum, and since I recently have begun using teas to make incredible glazes my Valentine meal will be to make a glaze with a concentrated cinnamon plum tea (brewed), honey and diced plums…simmer until slightly thickened. That will be served over braised sea scallops as an appetizer. For dinner lamb chops will be coated with Lamb Seasoning rub and seared to get a crisp coating, then roasted with new red potatoes and an arugula salad topped with Raspberry Sugar balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing. For dessert home made chocolate heart shaped cookies topped with Peppermint Patty Sugar.
Spaghetti with marinara sauce!
My favorite Valentine’s Deal is lemon chicken with bowtie pasta. Mmm Mmm Yum <3
We really enjoy smoked salmon on a bed of fried rice, a glass of red wine, and to finish it all off…a slice of chocolate cheese cake.
My favorite Valentine’s Day Dinner is: pork meet, white rice and black beans, spiced with oregano, cumin and bay leaves! Comida Cubana!!!!
I love to make a nice, spicy veggie curry for Valentine’s dinner … and I always make lots of chocolate cupcakes for my friends!
cheeses and crackers
Salmon in parchment with jullianed leeks/fennel, carrots, celery
Aspargras with lemon butter
Boiled small potatoes/fingerlines
chocolate mouse
I may do lamb shanks in the crockpot this year since Valentine’s Day is in the middle of the week. Don’t really have a favorite since anything homemade makes loved ones feel special.
Funny that it’s fondue month because that’s our favorite Valentine’s Day dinner. We get together annually with two other couples and have a full course fondue night (salads, cheese, meat, chocolate–and of course, wine to go with!). All of us share the work of prep and then relax and fine dine with great conversation. It’s always a special evening.
We do a good piece of fish (salmon) a nice salad and a really sweet dessert! We love homemade meals for special occasions. Add a bottle of wine in there.
