Saturday, May 5th 12-2pm. Andre’ and Margaux Amedee are setting up a lemonade stand at TSTE New Orleans to earn money for a special cause.  The kids will be at the store as a part of National Lemonade Day.  Proceeds from their sales will benefit Team Gleason, the charity started by Steve Gleason, the former NFL New Orleans Saints safety/special teams player recently diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).”Geaux” cups of lemonade made with TSTE’s Chamomile Citrus Tea and Lemon Sugar will be available to purchase from the kids.

Learn time-saving tips and tricks for healthy eating.  Tricia McCauley is a certified health coach and herbalist and the founder of Nutricia Consulting.  She holds a master’s degree in herbal medicine from the Tai Sophia Institute, and attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Saturday & Sunday, December 10th & 11th. Tour St. Augustine’s historic Bed and Breakfast Inns, all decorated in Holiday finery. This year’s tour theme is “Ghosts of Christmas Past” This year the innkeepers invite tour guests to peek into the past and learn about the sentimental stories or supernatural secrets that have inhabited their historic homes for decades, many for 100 years or more. In addition to being able to enjoy each Inn’s dazzling Christmas season displays, tour participants will be able to enjoy taste treats throughout the Holiday Tour: Each Inn unites with one of St. Augustine’s leading restaurants and confectioners, who serve complimentary samples. The tour takes place from 1 to 5 p.m. each day; half of the inns welcome visitors on Saturday, and half on Sunday. Ticket purchased online are $25. Proceeds from the Holiday Tour will benefit the St. Augustine Record “Empty Stocking Fund“. TSTE St. Augustine is a  “Friends Of The Tour,” a group of local businesses that support the St. Augustine Historic Inns and our Annual Holiday Tour.

Wednesday and Thursday, June 15th & 16th: The Art of Tagine Cooking at TSTE of Winter Park featuring our Moroccan and Middle Eastern spice blends. Dishes are Tracey’s Couscous featuring Autumn Blend, Chicken with Apricots and Almonds featuring our Moroccan blend, Curry Spiced Lentils with Pumpkin. The tagines are from Ten Thousand Villages, and are handmade by women potters of Lombok, Indonesia. The tagine is a traditional Moroccan-style, slow-cooking vessel, and can be used in the oven up to a heat of 400 degrees. Fair-trade tagines and cooking accessories provided by Ten Thousand Villages will be available for purchase after the event.
