The Spice & Tea Exchange® Celebrates Grand Opening with Former Giants Linebacker Brian Kelley

Red Bank, NJ – March 26, 2013 – The Spice & Tea Exchange® of Red Bank, NJ is celebrating the Grand Opening of their new Monmouth Street location with a weekend full of store events and guest appearances.

The Spice & Tea Exchange® is Red Bank’s newest gourmet retailer; offering food lovers, professional chefs, and tea enthusiasts a gourmet shopping experience filled with unique gifts and culinary delights. Guests are encouraged to “Come In and Smell The Spices®,” roam the rustic product displays, and discover their inner chef. The store offers an abundance of products from which to choose, with more than 140 spices and herbs, over 75 exclusive hand-mixed blends, 12 naturally-flavored sugars, 24 salts from around the world, and more than 30 exotic teas. The Spice & Tea Exchange® also offers recipes, gift boxes and accessories to complement spice and tea selections.

Grand Opening Festivities begin on Friday, April 4 with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 2 p.m. Mayor Pasquale (Pat) Menna will join new owners Howard Bernstein and Lisa Prepon for the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, followed by a sampling of their most popular spices, blends, salts, sugars, and teas.

Saturday, join The Spice & Tea Exchange® at 1 p.m. for a chance to meet Brian Kelley, former New York Giants linebacker and 2010 College Hall of Fame honoree. Kelley joins The Spice & Tea Exchange® to support the charitable giving fund of high school senior hockey player Mikey Nichols. On January 4, 2014, Mikey Nichols experienced a life-altering injury during a Monroe Township hockey game; injuring his spinal cord and limiting his mobility. Throughout the day, 10% of all store proceeds will benefit the cause for Mikey Nichols. In addition, a “Nickels for Nichols” canister will remain in the store throughout the weekend to support the cause.

Sunday, April 6, The Spice & Tea Exchange® will be hosting a cooking demonstration with Chef Ricardo Prado at 1 p.m. Prado has spent much of his career in private catering and experimental cuisine. After studying at the French Culinary Institute in New York, he worked with famed chefs such as Thomas Keller and Daniel Boulud. Now, he brings his experimental expertise to the table at The Spice & Tea Exchange®.

Before and after Chef Prado’s demonstration, guests can also take part in the annual Red Bank Street Fair and Craft Show– hosted just outside the store in downtown Red Bank. The Spice & Tea Exchange® is thrilled to extend this invitation to the community, and is looking forward to the exciting weekend of events to come.

Highlands, NC. – June 27, 2013 –This summer, Come In and Smell the Spices® at The Spice & Tea Exchange® of Highlands; North Carolina’s newest retail destination for food lovers, professional chefs and tea connoisseurs alike. This exciting new store opens its doors on Historic Main Street, July 3, 2013.

The Spice & Tea Exchange® is a unique retail experience where guests are encouraged to “Explore the Spiceabilities!®,” watch Spice Masters create handmade blends in-store and let their curiosity guide them through the rustic product displays of an old 18th Century Trading Post.

The Spice & Tea Exchange® fits perfectly into Highlands’ small niche of local treasures. “Mom and Pop” and other owner-operated shops still thrive among the streets of Downtown and the city welcomes thousands of summer guests each year.

At The Spice & Tea Exchange® customers will have an abundance of products to choose from, with more than 120 fresh spices, over 70 hand-mixed seasoning blends, 12 naturally-flavored sugars, 24 salts from around the world, and more than 30 exotic teas. The store also offers recipes, gift boxes and accessories to complement the spice and tea selections.

New store owners, Chris and Cathy Paul, fell in love with the Highlands area and knew that a TSTE® store would be a great addition to downtown. “I will get such joy out of watching customers walk through the door, take a whiff, and look as if they are in heaven,” Cathy said in anticipation of the opening.

The Spice & Tea Exchange® of Highlands will open its doors just in time for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. To celebrate their opening and cheap cialis canada Independence Day, visitors will receive a complimentary sample of a hand-mixed blend of their choice.

The Spice & Tea Exchange® offers food lovers, professional chefs, and tea enthusiasts a shopping experience filled with unique ingredients and culinary delights.

New owners Greg and Lisa are anticipating the opening of their store, located at 1412 West Mequon Road, with much excitement.
