Add a Little Green This St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick, originally began as a cultural and religious feast honoring the foremost patron saint of Ireland (who passed away on March 17). What began as a religious feast, evolved over time into an intentional festival celebrating the heritage and the culture of the Irish with parades, festivals, green beer, and delicious food.

Symbolized by lucky charms, shamrocks, and the color green, decorating and preparing for a St. Patrick’s Day gathering can be fairly simple. However, hosting a St. Patrick’s day feast, can take a little more planning.
